ENERGY CRISIS: Schools to reopen with restrictions
SCHOOLS and universities, across Panama will re-open on Monday April 13, says the Ministry of Education (Meduca).
But the announcement, which covers public and private schools, comes with a caveat: “No lights or air conditioners” except in laboratories where they are absolutely necessary said Minister of Education, Lucy Molinar, on Saturday, May 11. Fans will be allowed.
Meduca said that the schools will push the campaign "The task of the day: save energy."
