DROUGHT CRISIS: when good neighbors count
THE DROUGHT which has led to the declaration of a state of emergency in four provinces has also brought "good neighbors" to the fore.

Some 10,000 cattle are said to be at risk from the continuing drought, as they lose access to grazing and water. The smaller farmers are often unable to buy replacement fodder. Rain is not expected until late May.
