Carnival expenditures under eye of comptroller
WHO PAID what to whom and for what during Panama’s Carnival is still unclear, and the latest statements from the comptrollers Office seem to contradict earlier declarations by some of the parties involved.
The Comptroller has called o the Tourism Authority for copies of transactions involving performers.
According to the Comptroller's Office, the work of the audit is focused on the possible disbursement of state funds to national, international artists and suppliers who participated in the event.
