Police net credit card cloners
Three Brazilians nabbed by the National Police on Tuesday December 11 , were using cards that serve as hotel room "keys" to clone credit cards.
They were caught in an investigation into the credit card cloning. Rafael Alvarez, deputy commissioner of the National Police, said that a woman and two men are linked to the electronic crime. They were found with 46 cloned cards. Using the magnetic stripe on the hotel cars enabled them to clone the information on credit cards, he said.
