Three universities lose operating licenses

Panama’s Ministry of Education (Meduca)   has ordered the "closure" of two more private universities.  bringing the total to three this week

The University of La Paz. lost it license earlier.

The executive secretary of the National Assessment and Accreditation of Panama (CONEAUPA), Mariana de McPherson, said that the last  two universities are no longer working. "They received operating permits, but were not open," she said.

In addition, centers of higher learning as the American University of Distance Education,Santander University and the Christian University have  provide self-assessment and improvement plan.
