Gasoline prices up up and away

Those drivers who remember the song “These shoes are meant for walking” or the Panama presidential campaign slogan “In the Shoes of the People” may wish to amalgamate them in coming weeks.

Gas prices are on a continuing spiral, while fuel guzzling traffic jams are a daily part of life for motorists.

But with the rainy season approaching walking too may be a dodgy experience.

The National Secretariat of Energy announced Wednesday, that the price of a gallon of 95 octane gasoline will increase 29 cents on Saturday March 7 moving it at $4.67 close to the $5 gallon which, with the continuing rise in oil prices, seems likely.

Thos  who realize that their car doesn’t really need the higher octane  will be paying  only 15 cents more at $4.32.

Low sulfur diesel will decrease by three cents to $3.95 a gallon.
