Indigenous concerns still simmering as dialog continues

Talks over mining and hydro electricity plants in indigenous homelands are continuing but across the country groups are waiting to return to blocking highways failing a “positive” outcome.

Protesters holding a vigil at the Legislative Park said they  their concerns are off the boil, but still simmering  and expect a "positive response" from the dialogue between the Ngäbe Bugle Coordinator for The Defense  of Natural Resources, People's Rights and Farmers  and the government over the issue of hydro and mines.

Telemetro Reports said Tuesday, March 13 that because of lack of agreement indigenous  bases in Veraguas, Chiriqui, Bocas del Toro and have made ??sporadic demonstrations and pickets on the Trans American highway.
