Sunday water shut down in four areas

Four areas of Panama city will be without potable water for at least 10 hours on Sunday, March 4.

The water service will be suspended from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 pm this in the  The districts  of San Miguel, Calidonia, Perejil, Chorrillo, Balboa and Amador.

The water and sewage authority (Idaan) said that distribution is due to maintenance and replacement of electric lines that feed the motor for a drinking water pimp Balboa, which is administered by the Panama Canal Authority.

Idaan recommends that all affected users to take “necessary measures” to avoid shortages in their homes.
