Damage to Cinta Costera not fault of carnival – tourism bossm

 

Repair work on the grass on the Cinta Costera following the, Carnival celebrations has begun with truckloads of sod arriving to replace

The Panama Tourism Authority allocated $ 40 000 for the maintenance of the coastal strip after Carnival.

Tourism, Solomon Shamah, defended the Rumba Jumbo, which he claimed attractes scores of thousands of tourists, and held that the damage to the grass was not caused by the Carnival. The change of grass had to be done with or without Carnival he said.

For former mayor Bosco Vallarino’s, Christmas villas, the city had to spend around $60,000.
