Martinelli denies link to new Anati appointee

President, Ricardo Martinelli, said Saturday that it has no connection whatsoever with the new Director of Certification at the scandal mired Land Management (Anati).

Carlos A. Dutari has been named as the replacement for Anabelle Villamonte, whjo resigned September 22.

Responding to a story published in La Prensa he said:

 "Durati, not a relative of mineand ide is not linked to me," he told local media  in

La Chorrera. Martinelli said "I saw him for the first time in my life two days ago, and now I find that he is a founder of the PRD [Democratic Revolutionary Party] and has 35 years of working in Cadastre."  La Prensa said that  a lawyer named Durati had represented Martinelli in court actions.
