Former U.S. president Clinton visits Panama
Former U.S. president Bill Clinton met with Panama President Ricardo Martinelli Saturday, June 4 before heading to a judicial conference.
Martinelli attended university in Clinton's home state of Arkansas. {jathumbnail off}
Clinton's keynote speech at the Riu Hotel was labeled: "Embracing our common humanity."
Clinton, on his first visit to Panama, talked about some problems that facing humanity today, unemployment, environment and the economy.
Among the challenges facing the world today he mentioned global warming, which, he said, is increasing at an unsustainable rate.
