When all l the worlds Irish, even in a German hostelry

By Lourdes Quijada.

The Irish have a wonderful talent for promoting the Emerald Isle, even in Panama.

Your host will be waiting at the door.

And on March 17, which  just about everyone around the world recognizes as St Patricks Day everyone is ready for the wearin’ or drinkin’ of the green.

Yes, even in Panama’s best known German hostelry, Rincon Aleman on Calle 51.

It’s a restaurant  renowned for its Schnitzel and bratwurst, and where you can sup many varieties of high quality German suds, but mein host,Fritz Smutte is not afraid to bend the  rules on occasion,  and on Thursday will be serving green beer and  IRISH Stew, along with entertainment and sing along.

So even if green isn’t your favorite color,  pin a little something on, and join the Irish-for-a-day crowd. If it’s half as rollicking as last year, you’ll be having a good time, and if you've never kissed the Blarney Stone, maybe there's another opportunity to crown your evening.
