Italy’s “Barbie” the focus at presidential palace

A 28 year old blonde.l known in Italy as “Barbie” was front and center at the Presidential Palace of the Herons Wednesday June 30 while her escort looked on. 

Barbie is former model  Federica Gagliardi. Her escort was Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, on a Latin American visit. She captured, the gaze of the Heads of State of the Central American Integration System (SICA), meeting in Panama
The slender young woman wearing a white dress, entered the Yellow Room of the Presidential Palace of the Herons, where Berlusconi signed . a memorandum of understanding on security with President Ricardo Martinelli.

Gigliardi, 28, known in Italy as "Barbie", immediately attracted photographers and cameramen who focused their lenses on the smiling diva, while the  Italian Prime Minister watched from the front of the enclosure.

She took advantage of her brief stay in the Presidential Palace to take pictures and left the  building for a vehicle in which she was the only passenger says a news agency report.
Gigliardi has been the focus of the Italian press in recent weeks because of her alleged affair with Berlusconi.
The 74 year old prime minister has been the focus of widely publicized sex and corruption scandals in a country where corruption is said to outstrip Panama. He is currently facing charges in Italian courts. He was invited to visit Panama by Martinelli when he visited Italy soon after taking office.
