Blood letting begins in Martinelli cabinet

First out of the block to tender his resignation from the Cabinet of Change was Minister of Agricultural Development Victor Perez.

He made his office available at the request of President Ricardo Martinelli, who has promised a shake up and cleaning out of non achievers among Ministers, governors and administrators.

Martinelli chose made the announcement before the end of his press conference on the summit of the countries that make up the Central American Integration System.
Perez will be replaced by an engineer Emilio Kirswetter.
More blood letting is promised during the week, with the shuffle completed by Thursday (June 25).
