Census to continue Wednesday and Thursday day 20

The residents of east-Tocumen, December 24 and Las Mañanitas have another date with the  census  tecorders this  week,  Wednesday May  19 and Thursday  May 20 .

These areas were not listed on Sunday, May 16, when, more than 40,000 census forms were damaged… according to a  government press released.

There have been widespread complaints about  the efficiency of he census, with comments that after residents  waiting in all day, homes were no visited
The Director of the national Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC) Danis Cedeño reiterated that despite the setbacks 95% of the national population was counted.
