A sweet dessert at Madame Changs

Out and about
Diners at one of my favorite Panama restaurants got a bonus dessert early in the week.
Added to what the management likes to call the best Chinese food in Latin America, and who am I to argue, they got a serving of sweet music from the finalists of Projecto Estrella 20/30, a talent competition for young Panamanians from 13-17.
They were guests of the Madame Chang restaurant on Calle 48 near Uruguay, and with their impromptu chorus provided an enjoyable addition to a Sunday night out.
Young talent presented a sweet dessertThe annual program, aired on Chanel 2 TV, provides a window of opportunity for youngsters hoping to break into the entertainment scene, by providing the experience of appearing in the public spotlight.
Its original focus was in Panama City before being extended to the provinces. This year there were finalists from Bocas del Toro, Colón, Chiriquí, Veraguas and Panamá.
Always a great place to people watch, I got the opportunity to watch stars in the making.
I also discovered that Madame Chang has added some Thai dishes to their extensive menu, which already has a separate vegetarian listing, including a taste-bud tingling selection of tofu and green curry dishes. {jathumbnail off}
