In a letter sent on Friday Correa says she is disappointed "that such an emblematic place has been neglected for lack of inspection."
In a review by the Ministry of Health during the week, strong odors and flies were reported.
Meanwhile controversy continues to swirls around "The World’s Largest Christmas", organized by the Mayor. n.

A report reveals that some of the companies contracted to develop the vdisplays on the Cinta Costerawere formed a few days to launch the project. Indeed, some phones were fake.

La Prensa identifies the 3DConcept company contracted directly by the Mayor for the development of two sites called "Golden Forest" [$30,000) and "Forest green and blue” ($15,000) was listed in the Public Registry on October 23, 2009, within weeks of the December 9 hiring by the municipality.

The municipality also signed a direct contract with the designer Horacio Prado to create a site "Marine World", but the number and address on the invoices supplied by Prado, are not his says La Prensa

Councilor Carlos Perez Herrera who alleged that paper companies were raised for the project, asked the comptroller to investigate these anomalies. .

Representatives Javier Ortega and Carlos Perez Herrera, and others, warned that the ghost companies were created solely to develop the Mayor’s Christmas venture,,

The truth is that the expense report of Christmas villages reveals anomalies. One is that the company 3D Concept was registered in the Public Registry, one month and 15 days before he was hired directly by the Municipality of Panama to develop two display sites.

La Prensa says that 3D Concept was registered on October 23 2009, with a capital of $10,000… It is headed by the brother Charles Alfredo Bonilla (president) and Charles Sadat Bonilla (vice president).

Sadat Bonilla works for the current government as a lawyer in the Department of Public Procurement.
Perez Herrera said it was unfortunate the way the mayor conducted this Christmas project. "The Comptroller must investigate. There are many anomalies that have not been explained.”
María Olimpia de Obaldia, head of t Municipali tax department, said that implemented the project in a transparent manner. According to Obaldia, the suppliers provided the necessary documents and invoices to the Comptroller.
