Covid cases and deaths on 10-week downturn

For over 10 weeks, the numbers of cases and deaths from covid-19  in Panama have decreased. And  for two days in a row, only one death has been reported

The epidemiological indicators that show the dynamics of the Covid-19 disease are under control in Panama, while the disease is hitting other countries in the Latin American and Caribbean region with force.

The epidemiological week that just ended (April 11-17) closed with 2,220 cases,  84 cases less than the previous week.

In the first week of January, there were 25,008 new cases.
