The alert will remain in effect until 11:59 pm on Tuesday, September 15, due to atmospheric conditions that favor the development of rainfall of varying intensity.
What Conditions Does the Imhpa Foresee?
According to the institute, the presence of atmospheric instability in several areas of the national territory could generate episodes of rain accompanied by electrical activity. Some of these conditions could reach significant intensity and be accompanied by gusts of wind, so caution is advised during periods of peak activity.

The weather scenario can also increase the possibility of incidents associated with water accumulation and river behavior. Among the situations that could arise are:
