A US Citizen in Chiriquí Province Wanted for Drug Offenses was Expelled from Panama
A naturalized U.S. citizen, and who had an outstanding arrest warrant in the state of Florida for alleged crimes related to cocaine trafficking and the sale of controlled substances, was expelled from Panama, the National Migration Service reported. According to the entity, the foreigner was transferred from the Chiriquí Regional jail and remained housed in the Male Migration Administrative Detention Center. As part of the procedure, inspectors from the National Migration Service transferred him under custody to his country of destination, where he was handed over in compliance with the corresponding legal procedures. The naturalized U.S. citizen arrested was in fact a Cuban born citizen.
