The Final Farewell to the Sergeant Killed in El Chorrillo will be Held Thursday

The funeral services for Second Sergeant Albis Espinoza will be held Thursday in Chitré, Herrera, according to the family of the slain officer.  Albis died Sunday night when he was shot twice during an operation carried out by the National Police in the township of El Chorrillo.  Three individuals remain in custody for this crime, including the suspect who shot the uniformed officer known by the alias “Chema”.  The wake will be held at his residence located in the San Pedro neighborhood and the burial will take place on Thursday at the La Arena cemetery in Chitré.
