Panama National Police Seize Weapons and Drugs Dismantling a Clandestine Bunker in La Chorrera
The National Police reported that both those apprehended and the seized material were placed at the disposal of the authorities.
The National Police dismantled a clandestine hideout located in a wooded area of the La Estancia #1 neighborhood in La Chorrera. The site, which was being used as a “bunker,” was discovered after a citizen reported the suspicious presence of individuals in the area.
- A .38 caliber firearm and a replica.
- Ammunition, a telescopic sight, and technological equipment.
- One package and twelve doses of suspected illicit substance.
- Digital scales, cash, and other items related to criminal activities.
Both the detainees and the seized material were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for the start of the judicial process.
