A 4 Vehicle Accident in Natá Coclé was Reported by the Panama Fire Department with 12 People Injured and Taken to Hospital
Natá, Coclé: The Panama Fire Department Firefighters reported 12 people injured in an accident on the Pan-American Highway in Natá, Coclé province in front of CALESA, in Natá. The 12 injured were transported to CSS after a 911 SUME call. No fatalities were reported. The multi-vehicle collision, which occurred at 9:30 a.m., involved two buses, one on the Chitré-Panama route and the other on the Santiago-Panama route, as well as a van and a pickup truck.

The public transport buses were traveling toward Panama City. A lane towards Panama City was opened to avoid traffic congestion, given that passenger traffic is already being recorded for Holy Week. Firefighters reported that 11 people left on their own after the accident with 12 people hospitalized. The 4 vehicles involved were: a pick up, a van, and 2 buses.
