The Company has Submitted Guarantees to Ensure the Continuation of its Contract so the Amador Marina Concession Remains in Place

President José Raúl Mulino and Louis Sola of the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) met during Sola’s visit to Panama from July 29 to August 1. By then, Sola was already aware that news reporters were investigating the Amador project.
The concession granted to Amador Marina, SA remains in effect. The company, which is determined to develop a private marina at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal, submitted two bonds to guarantee the continuation of its seabed concession: a performance bond for $657,930.98 and an investment performance bond for $307,900.
