ESPN forecasts Panama victory over US in Gold Cup semi-final

ESPN FC program, journalist Ricardo Ortiz sees the Panamanian soccer team as a clear favorite against the US in their semi-final Gold Cup match. “The United States is not going to be able to with Panama,” the journalist born in New York, United States, but raised in Argentina, expressed energetically. “This is not even the coach of the United States team. They even have the team’s water bearer as an interim. It seems incredible to me how far this team has come, whether through penalties, but against Panama they will not be able to.”

“Panama, for me, is the team that is playing the best, it is the one I like the most and the one with the best chance of going through without a doubt. The United States has nothing and nobody knows them,” Ortiz said harshly.

In the general classification, Panama, with 83.3% effectiveness, remains above the United States which has 66.6%. Both teams remain undefeated in the tournament, but Panama has won three of their four games, while the United States only two.

As for goals, the team led by interim Brian Callaghan has managed to score 15 goals, while Thomas Christiansen’s group 10.

The match between the two teams is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12 at 6:30 pm local time at Snapdragon Stadium, in San Diego, United States.
