Man Arrested With Eight Packages of Suspected Illicit Substances
The man was brought before the appropriate authorities and made Santa’s naughty list.
A Panamanian citizen was apprehended in the Ancón area and eight packages of suspected illicit substance were seized from the car he was traveling in. This happened after a search and seizure operation in a car by the Drug Prosecutor’s Office together with the National Police. Inside they had 251 packages of this material which will be investigated. It seems that every Christmas season we see a rash of arrests involving packages of illicit substances. Trying to make a few extra dollars at Christmas has landed a number of people in the clink.
They Were Loading 70 Packages of Drugs into a Car with a False Bottom Across the Centennial Bridge
National Police units seized 70 packages of drugs on Sunday, hidden in a vehicle with alterations to its structure. Both the seized vehicle and the collected evidence were made available to the competent authorities.
