Panama was to Pay $30 Million to Finance Super Tucano Aircraft

The purchase of four A-29 Super Tucano fighter jets from the Brazilian company Embraer SA has been on the agenda of the Presidential Palace since March 11, 2025, when it was first announced. Initially, the MEF was authorized to sign a financing contract with a credit institution for up to $30 million.  The price is now $76 Million.  Will it happen?  More on this story later.
