Panama Weather Forecast for Tuesday September 2nd 2025

Sinaproc maintains rain and storm warnings until September 3. Occasional gusty winds and a high probability of heavy rainfall are expected, especially on Wednesday, September 3. Sinaproc recommends maintaining precautionary measures. The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology published its weather forecast for today. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are expected in the morning, especially in the Pacific and eastern and Central Caribbean regions, with the possibility of impacting the coasts of Azuero, Eastern Panama, Darién, the Gunayala region, and parts of Colón. Elsewhere in the country, partly cloudy skies are expected.
During the afternoon, heavy rains are expected, accompanied by storms that could be of considerable force, primarily affecting Chiriquí, the Ngäbe Buglé region, and various areas in Veraguas, Coclé, Western Panama, and Panama City. In other regions of the country, intermittent cloudy conditions and more scattered showers are expected, with the possibility of thunderstorms. During the evening hours, some scattered showers are expected to continue in Bocas del Toro, Chiriquí, the Ngäbe Buglé region, parts of Veraguas, and sectors of Darién. For the rest of the country, skies will be mostly cloudy to cloudy.
