Miss Costa Rica Hospitalized in Panama after Accident in Tocumen

Camille Valverde, Costa Rica’s representative in the Miss Eco International 2025 beauty pageant, suffered a serious traffic accident in Panamanian territory, which caused a cervical sprain and a concussion which has kept her hospitalized. The incident occurred last Friday, August 22nd, when the girl and her daughter were heading to Tocumen International Airport in Panama, and the car they were traveling in collided with another vehicle.

The model explained on social media that she was traveling with her daughter at the time of the accident, and that she suffered some injuries, although she assured them they were not serious. In a preliminary report, the model suffered a cervical sprain and a concussion, the result of a blow to the head at the time of the accident, which caused her to lose consciousness. “Life gave us a second chance,” she wrote, expressing her desire to return to her country in the coming days.
