Last weekend for tickets for 12th Night Revel

The folks behind the 12th Night Revel (party) at the Magnolia Inn in Casco Viejo, have not been idle during the Christmas break.
They have been at work putting the finishing touches to plans for a fun evening that will mark the traditional end of the Christmas festivities for a multitude of expats and local citizens.
The three hour open wine bar will be supplemented by a wide variety of finger foods to suit all tastes, and of course good company and conversation. Party goers can stay overnight at discounted prices at the Inn, already known for its healthy competitive rates
Tickets at only $20 are 60% sold and the closing date for reservations is January 2, so if you are not already on the list, it’s time to get moving. The Club will even deliver your tickets if you live in Panama City.
There will be a special event marking the first anniversary of the CanadaPLUS Club, which lit up the local entertainment scene during the year with functions ranging from A Royal Wedding Celebration, to Lake Gatun Jungle Exploration, a Welcome Back Snowbirds party to an outstanding Thanksgiving Dinner with the presence of the Canadian ambassador and entertainment from Panama Opera.
The year was capped with Carols By Candlelight an event which drew some 2000 participants and which the Club intends to make a fixture in Panama. Plans are already under way for 2012.
The Club also introduced a successful group health insurance plan for life members, and obtained discounts and special offers from restaurants and theater performances to high quality printing.
At the January 6 event, there will be an opportunity for the renewal of memberships for those who have not registered as life members and details will be released of the upcoming year activities. The Club is open to all nationalities, and currently has members from 22 countries including Panama.
