CEMIS investigation a waste of time former legislator

A former lawmaker, called to give evidence in the CEMIS scandal, said that reopening the case of Centro Multimodal, Industrial and Service (CEMIS) is "a waste of time."

The ex legislator for the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), Mark Allen, went on Monday (May 24) to the Attorney General’s Office to file an affidavit with prosecutor, Giuseppe Bonissi.

The former lawmaker said that resources are being spent, "when questioning people like me who have no knowledge or known nothing about this case."

The investigation "is not going anywhere," said Allen, on TVN News .He said he was asked if he knew of a meeting of the Democratic Revolutionary Party in a building adjacent to the National Assembly and if the members of the CEMIS consortium offered money to legislators.
