More Fulbright scholarship opportunities for Panamanian students

Three additional Fulbright Scholarship programs were announced on Monday (June 14) at the home of U.S. Ambassador Barbara Stephenson.

US Ambassador Barbara Stephenson and Vice-President Juan Carlos Varela at  announcement of new Fulbright ScholarshipsThe community college program is for a year of study in a community college covering agriculure, applied engineering, business administration, health professions including nursing, information technology, tourism and hotels.

 

The program also includes the opportunity for a six months  intensive English course in the United States. It requires  an intermediate knowledge of English.
The new Youth Ambassadors’ program is a three weeks exchange opportunity for public school children 16-18 years . English is not a requirement.
The Access program offers the opportunity for students 15-17 a two year course in English, adfter school hours
