Health authorities vigilant during national parades

Panama’s public health inspectors were out in force during the Independence Day parades on Wednesday, November 3, checking sanitary conditions at booths that lined the two routes.

The inspectors examined 246 stalls and found only At 15 not up to official standards. They were fined. Among the defaulters eight were booked for selling expired products such as bread and tomato sauces Four stall holders were using fake health cards.
The authorities will continue monitoring during the second day of parades, November 4.
