Panama seeking closer Cuban links
Panama’s Vice-President and Foreign Minister, Juan Carlos Varela headed for Cuba on Wednesday, November 17 to get some tips on tourism, hospitality, health, and health.
A government press release said the trip is also to promote diplomatic relations, policies, and cooperation between the two countries.
Varela is expected to assess issues like the Panama-Cuba political consultation mechanism while learning from the Caribbean country about its success in the fields of health care and tourism.
Panama’s Minister was received by Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba, Rogelio Sierra.
