Panama Murder suspect Wild Bill gets a few more moments of fame

A jail cell in David, Chiriqui is playing host to Panama’s most notorious murder suspect, “Wild Bill" William Dathan Holbert.

He was transferred there by prison bus on Tuesday, January 4 and, after the long ride from Panama, got another opportunity to enlarge his celebrity status by talking to local media.

He told them that his partner Laura Michelle Reese, who was transferred to the Women's Rehabilitation Center in Los Algarrobos, had nothing to do with the alleged multiple murders for which he is being investigated
He was transferred from Panama to David in order to make an affidavit before first fiscal judge, Luis Martínez.
When he arrived in handcuffs and leg shackles, he was sporting a new prison haircut and a tidied up beard
Dathan Holbert previously held at the La Joyita prison and Reese at Women's Rehabilitation Center.
They had been there since July 2010 after being captured on the Costa Rica and Nicaragua border following the discovery of alleged series of murders in Bocas del Toro. {jathumbnail off)
