President claims fake Martinelli Twitterers

Panama’s President Ricardo Martinelli  who claims 4,837 followers on Twitter, says  there are people opening fraudulent accounts using his name.

Martinelli has  denied stories circulating on the Internet that he does not manage his account, and has blocked certain users.

"I have not blocked anybody," he wrote. "Twitter is a tool for two-way communication with my fans." {jathumbnail off}

He created the account on Feb. 11. with the profile "@ rmartinelli" , but only in Spanish.
