WHAT THE PAPERS SAY: Martinelli’s worst enemy

At this point, it is no secret that the worst enemy of President Ricardo Martinelli is Martinelli. 

Heir to a robust mandate,  he came to power with the opposition shattered and citizenry elated by promises to the end of the gross and dishonest way of doing politics.
But the court raided and at ease, there emerged an insatiable glutton for power. He received a growing country and all the ingredients ready to make the leap to development. But instead of respecting and improving the democratic system that opened the way to its economic and political success, he stubbornly accumulated power.
The President is an energetic man, a tireless worker, but impulsive and reckless in matters of state, and the value of his  word  casts more shadows every day.. We finish with   one confrontation and the next one begins immediately. Serenity, courage, honesty and tolerance are virtues whose exercise would do  wonders for  the country … and its management, Mr President.
