4.5 earthquake shakes Panama

 An earthquake  registering 4.5 on the Richter scale rocked eastern Panama in the early hours of Sunday. There were no reports of damage or injuries.

The University of Panama Institute of Geosciences said the  quake was recorded in the Caribbean Sea off the Guna Yala indigenous region at 02:38 local time (07:38 GMT).

The quake was located at a depth of 42.1 kilometers and was s felt in Colon and  on the Pacific coast.
