CD seeks to overturn Electoral Tribunal decision

Democratic Change (CD)  legislators slid into the draft amendments to the Electoral Code an article seeking to invalidate the decision of the Electoral Tribunal (TE) that rejected the CD merger with the Molirena party.

Molirena deputy Jorge Alberto Rosas, who opposes the merger, said this shows the interference of the Assembly in the administration of justice.  The merger was disallowed because of problems with an  intended "secret" ballot.
