Land committee got “orders from the president”: report

An emergency meeting of the advisory council  of the National Land Authority (Anati). Got “orders from  the President” not to judge the actions of the former director who in turn had “received orders".

He defended the figure of the expropriation of the land "because the issue of compensation fixed it safely." Asked what type of agreement would be reached with Segura, he said: "I know who reached an agreement with Mr. Segura to give up compensation.”

Papadimitriu  told La Prensa that everything said by the ex-vice minister "is totally false." He denied having said at the meeting that Villamonte received orders from above, "and I arrived at the meeting with no line he reiterated.
Papadimitriu also denied the alleged agreement to waive compensation.
