Year end GDP projected at 6.3%
PANAMA’S GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is on track end the year with an increase of 6.3 percent says the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
This comes after the first nine months of the year the real GDP was 6.1%, according to the review by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC).
According to the MEF, the latest estimate is consistent with the IMF that expected 6.6%, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, that projected 6.0%.
