Seven city areas without water

If you woke up without water in your home on Sunday, March 11, blame the Metro subway construction project.

Communities across the City of Panama were without water for 12 hours when the Water and Sewage Authority (Idaan)  began repairs on a 30 inch pipe on  Transistmica, that has been damaged by a contactor, working on the Metro line.

Areas affected included, Pueblo Nuevo, Miraflores, Carrasquilla, Vista Hermosa, Bethania, Los Angeles, El Cangrejo  and El Paical 
The cut off was scheduled from 6 am until 6 pm .
