Cantus Panama planning a choral reprise

By Lourdesn Quijada

Cantus Panamá  has fast become one of Panama’s most popular choral Groups that not only fills the air with sweet melodies but also provides  support to charities and community projects.

Cantus Panama at the 2011 Carols By Candlelight concert.

You  will have seen them at embassy functions, in churches and at last year’s Carols By Candlelight celebration in Casco Viejo, and  always providing stellar performances.

Now they are planning an early June event at which  they will be mixing some new offerings with a reprise of some of the songs that have won them so many plaudits in the past.

The concert will be presented on Saturday, June 2  at 4:00 PM at the former officers club next to the new Biodiversity Museum on the Amador Causeway.

Cantus Panamá is a volunteer community chorus made up of people from various countries who share a love of singing.  If you need more information go to cantuspanama@gmail.com or call 6779-3315.

I will keep you updated as we draw nearer to the event. Meanwhile, mark it on your calendar and I'll see you there.
