Oderbrecht picks up another government contract

.The Ministry of Public Works (MOP has added another $20.9 million contract for work on the Cinta Costera by the Oderbrecht construction company from Brazil.

The ministry says the $20.9 million is for additional work jobs and repairs to the first two phases of the project.
Carlos Gasnell, executive vice president of the Foundation for the Development of Civic Freedom, said that "the addendum is quite unique and deserves an explanation by the MOP, because some of its clauses are written in the past and not to the future. You cannot make any payment if no prior approval of modifications with the appropriate permits, was made" he said.
