People with dignity should resign from ‘nest of vipers” – ex Attorney General

“Anyone with dignity  should resign from  the Martinelli Government, which has  become  a "nest of vipers" says Panama’s former attorney general, Anna Matilde Gomez.

Commenting on  the public dispute between the Minister of Education, Lucy Molinar and Public Security Minister Jose Raul Mulino, p the display of military power during Indepence day school parades,  she told La Prensa   that if the dispute is on ethical principles, "expect the one who has dignity and is struggling to do the right thing, to resign ".

She said on Saturday, November 10 that "the difference in principle is serious, because it is a crack that is insurmountable. You cannot go along with another person where their differences are critical in terms of ethics.”

She added: "If this struggle is a true  reflection of  difference in principles,  those who have the dignity have to leave what has  become a nest of vipers" and help other citizens to exert  pressure from outside to straighten the course of the management of the Government.

The ex prosecutor said that  , all that is left is for the Panamanian people  is to continue to resist until the end of this period of  government and "pray to God that the Panamanians know how to  cast their vote and choose better in the next election ."People with dignity should resign from Martinelli government – ex Attorney General
