Martinelli-Varela love in not on cards,

Hours after President Ricardi Martinelli had  waxed enthusiastically about his “friendship” and business relationships with Vice President Juan Carlos Varela, the VP today rushed to deny that he was close to the president.

 Varela made the statement in response to comments on Tuesday, November 14 by Martinelli claiming the two had a close relationship. 

While that may have been while true at one time Varela said, He  has not supported the government in any way since the end of the Alliance between their respective political parties. "I'm not a partner of Martinelli,"  …  Nobody believes what he  says"  said Varela and added that hat Martinelli and ignored him When he  asked the president to suspend his recent foreign travel during the crisis in Colon.

Earlier Martinelli said Varela  was attacked  "by political anxieties."

"I understand that a person does what he has  to do," said Martinelli,

Varela asked  the courts to order  psychiatric and psychological tests on the president, He  made ??the request to the court handling the case of a $30 millioncivil lawsuit that the president, Ricardo Martinelli, filed against him .

Martinelli said: "We do a lot of business together, he is my partner in a bank, and we  bought together a TV channel ( and  I am your biggest supplier of molasses, to his family business and  I'm the biggest buyer of his family. "He's my partner, my friend. For a  long time we were together everywhere, we had a government program, we traveled all over the world  His  personal problems are not mine” said Martinelli.

"Even if he does not recognize it the position he adopts now  is a purely political position and I sincerely respect it."
