Kenyan wins Panama marathon
Kenyan, Paul Wachira Gatheru. won the 36th Panama Canal "International Marathon on Sunday, December 2.
Cuban runner Dailyn Belmonte Torres was the winning woman.
They headed a field of ,1,200 nationals and foreigners. including athletes from Venezuela, Costa Rica, Japan, Colombia, El Salvador, Argentina, Ecuador, Spain, France, USA, Kenya, Italy, Belgium, Kazakhstan and Mexico.
The 42 km event began at 5:00 am and was guarded by 150 officers from the National and traffic police
