Christmas garbage collection

Panama’s garbage collection authority (AAUD) will take advantage of the falloff in traffic during the celebration of Christmas, on December  24 and 25,  and increase collection in the early  hours of both days.

General Manager Zeno Navalo said crews will be on the streets by 6 am, and asked residents to make sure their garbage is in place by then.

"Take out your garbage early after Christmas Eve dinner because the trucks will pass by early the next day," said Navalo.
There will be 70 compactor  trucks in service both days.
