Sunday truck ban on Pan-Am highway

Nearly 72,000 vehicles headed into the Interior from Panama on Holy Friday, March 29 , which points the way to big traffic jams  for drivers returning home on Sunday.

To help reduce the congestion the Transit agency (ATTT) has announced that from noon until 6 p.m. Sunday no trucks of five tons or more will be allowed on the Pan-American Highway.
