Your chance to appear on the silver screen

THE SECOND edition of IFF (the Panama International Film Festival) has sparked more than a few appetites for something other than blockbuster movies in local cinemas.

Whether the theatres will take the hint and recognize that there is a need to cater  for those  who don't crave for violence, car chases or teenage maudling sex. is another thing.

But what about a chance to step out of your viewing seat onto the silver screen?
Well, opportunity is about to knock on YOUR door regardless of age, sex or your ability to speak Spanish.
On Saturday May 4 there will be a day long casting session in Casco Viejo for a new movie, Archivo Pendiente, written by Guillermo Machado and directed by Helmut Schleppi. The producer is Brittany Devries.
The casting is in the capable hands of Melanie Lee, who you can see in another role during the next three weeks at the TGA (Theatre Guild of Ancon) where she is one of the Improv 8 cast which calls for quick thinking as well as acting ability.
The casting session will be form 9am to 5pm at Los Del Patio. So hop off that seat, and be prepared to astound your friends whether you are blooming or fading, speaking Spanish or English.
